Burton-on-the-Wolds School is situated on Barrow Road in the village of Burton-on-the-Wolds, 4 miles from Loughborough. It was built in 1966 and stands in its grounds with a large sports field, two hard surface play areas and a nature area. Average number on roll last year was approximately 115 children organised into four classes. Schools' Catchment area includes Hoton, Walton le Wolds and Prestwold. Pupils' have opportunities to learn by being given responsibilities and through a range of Extra-curricular activities including recorders, choir, orchestra, netball, football, cross-country, tennis, badminton, athletics and cricket.
