Background:
Established in 1730, Lutterworth Primary moved to its current location in 1954 and has been extensively refurbished and added to over the years. The school buildings are 'attractive' and the school has 'ample' playing fields. The 'full' range of National Curriculum subjects are offered, in addition to extra-curricular sporting activities, choir and orchestra. Lutterworth Primary has 'strong sporting and musical traditions' and is committed to 'continuing to build links with the community'. There are a large number of pupils with special educational needs (SEN), consequently the school has a part-time SEN co-ordinator, two part-time teachers and 10 SEN assistants working with pupils across the school.
