Swithland St Leonard's CofE Primary School is set in a pleasant rural village in Charnwood Forest. It is housed in a Victorian building of great character and style dating from 1843. The present accommodation comprises one classroom, a computer room, small hall, reception, secretary's offices and cloakrooms in the main building. In the ground there is a large mobile for the youngest children with its secure, fenced off play area and a double mobile with its facilities for the juniors. It also has a playground, gardens and a delightful field with secure boundaries and mature trees. There is a small wildlife area with a pond. There is an all weather area with play equipment on the school field.
