Woodbrook Vale High School is a secondary school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is 11 to 14. The school was opened in 1982 and has enjoyed the benefit of many modernisations and improvements over the years. The library plays a central role in the curriculum and learning of the school. Music and Drama productions are extremely popular and very successful at Woodbrook Vale. Most rehearsals take place after-school and at weekends. It has a thriving school orchestra and choir. Pupils at Woodbrook Vale enjoy a variety of activities including: athletics, badminton, basketball, dance, football, netball, cricket and rounders. Woodbrook Vale is a happy, successful and caring school.
