Background:
Situated in the hamlet of Snibston, between Ravenstone and Hugglescote, the school was built in 1907 and became a 5-11 County Primary School in 1937. It has a large sports field for outdoor activities and, at Key Stage 2, children are taken weekly to Ibstock Community Centre to use the sports hall or swimming pool. After-school clubs include athletics, netball and football and inter-school games are arranged. The school aims to offer a happy, safe and secure environment in a family atmosphere.
