Fullhurst Community College is an 11-16 community college situated in the west of Leicester city serving a culturally diverse catchment area. The college has out-of-hours activities combined with excellent facilities, helping to ensure that there are numerous and varied opportunities to acquire knowledge, skills and understanding in preparation for adult life and to develop confidence, motivation and a thirst for lifelong learning. It has a wide range of extra-curricular activities including creative writing, art and design based activities, music and drama, homework club, Duke of Edinburgh's Award, games and competitive sports. It has established very close and effective links with the providers of education and training beyond the age of 16 and has a strong tradition of careers education and guidance, which serve to raise the aspirations of all students and improve their understanding of their important role within society. The college aims to provide a calm, caring and stimulating environment.
