Background:

Packington Church of England Primary School was opened in 1893. It is still largely housed in its original building. It is situated in the village of Packington and benefits from excellent road links to Birmingham, Leicester and Nottingham. The school was recently extended and now has a school hall, entrance and office. The school provides a range of extra-curricular activities for the children including football, netball, cricket, athletics and home club. In addition many children receive tuition from Leicestershire Arts in violin, flute and cornet. Visits to relevant places of interest are an important part of the curriculum.
