St Mary's CofE Primary School, Bitteswell was built in 1888 and it is situated in a rural setting on the village green of Bitteswell. The school is proud of its high standard of recorder ensemble playing and played in the music for youth national festival at the Royal Festival Hall and Birmingham Symphony Hall. The school provides extra-curricular activities such as football, netball, cricket, rounders, cross-country, athletics and hockey and they all play against local schools and pupils' raise funds for charity throughout the yea .
